Website Copywriting: A Tale of Three Launches

The Sūmèr team is in celebration mode with a few of our clients launching new websites. Let’s just say we’ve been busy bees writing optimized website copy lately!

It’s a Sūmèr tradition to celebrate alongside our clients (often doing the happy dance), so we wanted to take a hot minute to share with you some of the new industries we’ve been dabbling in—from energy technology to e-commerce.

GenX Sustainable Solutions, Inc.

genx website

GenX’s Powered Energy Amplification System (P.E.A.S.) is the first true green energy system that puts control in the hands of individuals and organizations to stop their reliance on the grid, and is robust enough to power through even citywide outages.

The challenge in writing this website copy was to make sure we simplified the message so that prospective buyers understood both the benefits and the features available to them. We focused on 4 primary audiences—commercial and residential users, investors, and survivalists—to drive home the overarching benefits of installing the GenX energy system. In addition to new website copy, our copywriting team also strategized and wrote an email nurture sequence.

Take a look at our work, and learn how you can be more energy efficient.

seemytutor website

Our ongoing client, SeeMyTutor, is a new online tutoring company that offers one-on-one homework help, test prep, and general studies sessions. SeeMyTutor needed a website message that accurately reflected their unique mission and highlighted the benefits of customizable academic success.

To help SeeMyTutor become more visible over long-established competitors, our copywriters wrote optimized web pages, video scripts, blogs, and email sequences that nurture the audience and leverage the company as preeminent experts in their field.

Mallory’s Candles

Mallory's Candles website

Mallory’s Candles is an e-commerce company that sells a variety of handmade, natural soy candles.

The challenge with this product content was to set Mallory’s Candles apart in the aromatherapy market. To help our client become more visible in a saturated marketplace, our copywriters crafted optimized product copy that went beyond mere descriptions. Instead, the message created the experience of integrated specific uses for the candles—such as romantic evenings, housework, and unwinding.
