Have you ever wondered why you seem to struggle with finances in your business? Ultimately, finances are at the root of every business failure. As the need to earn enough money to grow your business increases, it shifts your focus from the true elements that will bring the money in. Your mind becomes fixated on the money needed and not the vision of what you truly desire to build. This creates a vicious cycle and most entrepreneurs find themselves caught in this hamster wheel at one time or another. My experience is that this is more the norm and not the exception. I would like to share with you 3 Keys that will unlock your wealth. I know from experience that implementing them will unlock the wealth that you know you truly deserve.
The 1st Key is Associations. Your associations are most definitely affecting your financial situation. Associations can be sneaky things that just evolve and we never really attach a wealth value to them. Most of our associations, whether business relationships or friends, just kind of evolve out of necessity or desire at the time. We make business associations based on our current need and, whether you realize it or not, your friendships arrive the same way. You have a need and something in that relationship fills that need either financially, socially, or emotionally.
Now here is where the importance comes in. These associations, in most cases, are holding you back. They do this by keeping you in the same place. The important take away here is strive to continually add associations into your life that cause you to stretch. Stretch your business savvy, your faith, and the size of your game. If your dream is being in the majors you can’t practice with those in the minors.
The 2nd Key is Perspective. Your perspective will create your future, period. Let me explain how perspective impacts your business. Your perspective is how you view the world you currently live in. If you perceive that there are limited resources in the world you live, then you would be correct. But you are only correct in the fact that your perspective is what is limiting the resources. Have you ever wondered how people have built massive business while others struggle to make payroll? You may perceive they are just smarter, or maybe they are just lucky. The truth is in their perspective. Their perspective is that there are at least enough resources available in their world to reach their dreams, if not unlimited resources available. Change your perspective; view the world as big enough to easily fulfill your dreams. If you do this, be alert because opportunities will come knocking.
The 3rd Key is Time Management. Time is the one commodity that is always universal. What I mean by that is this; we all have 24 hours in each day. The difference only comes in how you invest those hours, please notice that I didn’t say use, I said invest. You need to understand that each hour is actually invested. If you can grasp this subtle change your focus will shift away from time wasters and move into time investing. The truth is we do invest our time; unfortunately most people invest foolishly. As an entrepreneur it is critical for your financial well-being to invest time wisely. When we invest our money we expect a return on investment—why should it be any different with our time?
