Don’t stop marketing in a recession! In a study of U.S. recessions, McGraw-Hill Research found that the business that maintained or increased their advertising during the 1981-82 recession actually showed, on average, significantly higher sales growth numbers than those business that decreased or eliminated their advertising budget.
