Recently, California congresswoman Jackie Speier, introduced a bill titled “Do Not Track Me Online Act of 2011″ that would work to protect the privacy of consumers. However, it would appear that such a bill would have dire consequences for advertising agencies that use consumer purchasing behavior data to craft successful ads.
